The rules and commitments that govern your use of CVLink

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, publishing a CV landing page, or using any feature of CVLink Nigeria ("CVLink", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Our Service

CVLink allows job seekers to create, share and maintain a modern, always-current digital CV landing page, and provides tools for job applications, document verification, interview preparation and employer engagement. We may update, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration and to keep your profile truthful. Misrepresentation of qualifications, experience or credentials may result in suspension or removal of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the CV content and documents you upload. You grant CVLink a limited licence to host, display and process your content solely to operate the service. You warrant that your content does not infringe any third-party rights and is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

5. Verification and References

Document and reference verification is offered to increase trust. Verification statuses reflect checks performed at a point in time and do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by CVLink. We are not liable for decisions made by third parties based on these statuses.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscription plans (1, 3 or 12 months) unlock premium features. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Plans automatically become inactive after their expiry date unless renewed. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You will not use CVLink to post unlawful, defamatory, infringing or harmful content, to harass others, to scrape or overload the service, or to misrepresent yourself. Employers must conduct recruitment activity lawfully and respectfully.

8. Limitation of Liability

CVLink is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any outcomes resulting from job applications, interviews or third-party decisions.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or pose a risk to the platform or its users.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Nigeria.
